Thanks for these most useful suggestions, but I'm sure my cousins on this side of the family feel far more at home in whatever posh (& free of stabbings) hotel in Edinburgh it is than at a MacHeartland p*ss-up. As I've lost the invitation, I can't even check where it is, let alone when it starts.
