Your ideal Sisters Of MERCY setlist......

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

B&S is on Wake. What probability there is of seeing THEM play it these days I wouldn't like to say.

As to setlists, I agree with Ez (Think it was him) that This Corrosion is Not Good live. The only way it could ever be REALLY good is if everyone in the audience somehow got it together to stop singing along with the main lyrics (which are already being done by someone else) and sing the backing parts, partic. the chorus.

So, my top (take note Paddy) 15 / 18 would be:

FLA
Ribbons
Marian
No Time to Cry
Come Together
Body Electric (yeah yeah, I know, you'd guessed)
Crash & Burn
Summer
Lucretia
Rock and a Hard Place
Adrenochrome
Amphetamine Logic
Alice
On The Wire (NOT (repeat NOT) the version they did in about 1992 - the version on the B side of NTC)

1969
Vision Thing

Some Kind of Stranger

please note the EXCLUSION of Temple!!!!

I think I've written this somewhere else but....

A 45 minute version of Afterhours, and then something to jump about to before I head home (maybe a sissies version of Zodiac Mindwarp's Prime Mover).

In accordance with directive 65812541a (footnote 2 to paragraph 47b), every "Ideal Sisters Setlist" must contain Adrenochrome.

You are all hereby commanded to sit down and have a good long think about it.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

First, let's get rid off these new sunglassed AE wear. He looks like a sports instructor or midget golf enthusiast with then! Better get back to that very wonderful Vision Thing era-glasses. And the blond hair, but that's wishful thinking. I thought.

Yep!
It does sound refreshing .
The funny thing is that my roommate would only spent his money on "Susanne" and on an album with sound similar to "Feel No Pain''.:-))

btw: the medley Shut the fk up/I was wrong might as well be appropriate!

Disqualified. It has nothing whatsoever to do with The Sisters Of Mercy PLC.

M'Lud.
