says probably: wrong. But wouldn't this be a lifesaver? Would this a) save Andrews ass b) give us a fine record c) make him sell 5000 records.
isn't this the answer to new Sisters material?

5000 wouldn´t even be worth getting up an hour ealier.. How many tickets were sold for the silver bullet tour? I just counted 75 Gigs for this year, let´s just say a crowd of 1000 visitors each in average. That´s 75000 people traveling to see The Sisters Of Mercy. Now add those who wouldn´t go to see them, but maybe like the new stuff.. and those who notice them on radio, TV, anyhow..dinky daisy wrote:c) make him sell 5000 records.
It´s a different scale with the the Sissies!

of course, it's a money driven platform that could work for Vegas styled rockbands - i was somehow joking a bit.

not even. the more money he would get for a new record, the bigger the embarrassment, if sales are just average. And he knows that.czuczu wrote:

oh yes. they sold quite a bit in their times.... these figures arent reachable for them nowadays.czuczu wrote:Maybe but were the sales ever much better than average when they were active?
Reasons:
1. music industry has changed considerably.
2. no image except being an old curmudgeon.
3. lack of cooperation with the press/media.
just brilliant and marketable songs can save their souls.
