new Chris Reed (Red Lorry Yellow Lorry) solo CD is out

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Me too!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

its been out for a while - i got it 3 months or so back...

its very cool actually. very acoustic/country but a lot darker and more distorted - kinda what you'd expect from the main singer/songwriter of the lorries :von:

seems that all the old goths are doing grungy, unplugged country-esque stuff these days

its cool. buy it & give it a whirl. dont expect to hear the lorries at full tilt, but do expect some decent, slightly edgy song-writing and a version of the lorries' blow thats better than the original 8)

worth a few bob of anyone's hard-earned :notworthy:

Forgot to mention, my copy arrived a few weeks back, complete with a nice handwritten message from the man himself.

It's just as Quiffy described, and very excellent indeed!
