Happened across a few tunes by them and wondered if any of you lot knew anything about them.
Very contemporary Sisters sound with the vocals along the lines of a Von/Bowie hybrid.

Hmmmm....not bad, I'd actually heard them on Myspace a few months ago and had a good laugh at the name! The vocals (especially in the verses) are VERY von-esque.
But the one thing I will give them credit for. Being a regular user of Myspace for promotional purposes, I come across SO MANY bloody people who like "Sisters of Mercy".
At least The Daughters of Bristol have the intelligence and decency to include the "THE"!!!!!!

"Sometimes" is great. Louder, swirly effects.. needs a little work with mixing, and maybe a little more sounds in the high end, but I do like it.

it's the best this band can sound, i'm afraid... as a Sisters ripoff. I think you could've fooled me with VOYAGE some years ago, saying it's a Sisters b-side.

I'm torn between the obviously derivative imagery and the rather good songs. It reminds me of how I felt when I first heard FALAA, but I have a nasty feeling it'll end up like the first time I heard the merry thoughts
