I didn't think it was possible, but his voice actually hurts my ears.
Gazza for England manager
But it is a nice personal letter with the free CD (actually it's better than the CD, sounds like someone doing a bad Bob Geldof).

Yeah definately an e-bow. You can see it hovering on the D string on the Whistle Test vid.

Simon Hinkler from The Missi*n also used an ebow alot (on 'Wasteland' for example). Billy Duffy used one for the ambient background intro to 'She Sells Sanctuary'. Jimmy Page used to get a similar effect with an actual violin bow!
The Nephs song Peter Yates used one on was Dawnrazor (with a bottleneck as well).
No goth guitarist worth his/her salt should be without one...!

Yes, I received mine in the USA, about 10 days after I wrote in and asked if he'd send it to me. He replied, said he would, and did. Then I ripped the package open and tore the nice letter in 2. s**t.

Just got my copy of the single this morning. I dunno. I have this feeling that it will grow on me. Granted the voice isn't great but I find it unintrusive and the guitars sound really cheap in it. The only thing that gets me are the drums. The snare in Butterfingers gets really annoying.
Think I'll buy the album anyway
Oh by the way, Anyone know any good guitar techs around the Bedfordshire area? My guitar needs new volume switches, rewiring and set up.
