This guy thinks he can play Geetar!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

He couldn't at the time, per-se. First thing he did post-Sisters was learn to play chords ;)

Did an awful lot of excellent stuff without them though :notworthy:

I think Gary Marx had a very distinct sound, just as the Stooges did when they first came out; which they would not of had if it wasn’t for them knowing nothing about music theory, how some chords develop into other chords, etc. etc. So really, it was a good thing that he didn't know how to play chords.

You see that Yngwie Fuckin' Malmsteen bloke and that Eddie Van rental bloke out of Van Halen.I'm sure they can go "widddle widdle weeee" much better and faster than anyone else in creation but they seem to find it particularly difficult to actually play anything remotely resembling an f*cking tune.

When I were a lad,you weren't considered good on the geetar until you could play standing up and the geetar was that low you could rest yer chuckies on it.

How times have changed--and not for the better if you ask me.

So THAT is the reason why all those Föhnrock-bands had such falsetto singers!

Now just hold on there Mr. Buttock, I shall hear no calumny about Ed, he also plays some great keyboard riffs.
Itchy J. Ringpiece is entirely another matter, as is Uli Jon Roth and his wankfest.
