Lost Playground

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Ermmm.... that's NOT a good question to ask, concerning Pitch Shifter!

But yes, 'twas them heydays of yore with bands such as Napalm Death, Carcass and Godflesh that taught me the joys of a Pitch Shifter Live Set! ;D

Just looked at their official site again, they look rather different now

I'm with Big Si on this ~ Eat Static/Ozrics at Kilburn Ballroom early nineties was a crustavaganza, loved it!

..seems this has now been 'postponed':

clicky!!

With this, the nephs cancelling and the festival of shadows collapsing, I guess the scene is in a bit of trouble these days - or is it just promoters out-reaching themselves?

Lost playground was more down to the time of the event, it was advertised as an all nighter and hence didn't get the required licence although I do think the venue chosen was way toooooooooo big for the bands appearing, KJ, NMA , Pitchshifter and Ozrics are all bands only capable of selling out the Astoria.

Bugger - New Mods, Killin' Joke, and Apoptiggy Berserk on the same bil? I'd have to choose that day to have A Ticket To go on holiday.

Anyone fancy a Beer before hand?
