Tainted love? by TSOM??

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I really don't know if anyone has already posted it here before but .... it was new to me, at least!

Since when would The Sisters release something via Russian mp3 site :-)

Obviously it's not by them, the singer doesn't sound a bit like Von and there's a real drummer instead of dear Doktor.

The Sisters Of Mercy? Not: Tango Society Of Minesota?

That's the cover version by "Atrocity". A pretty good version, actually. Though it always eludes me why whenever bands cover Tainted Love, they always try to cover Soft Cell's own cover version.

I know. Hence why I was confused as to why bands cover Soft Cell's cover, rather than Gloria Jones' version. ;)

Yes it's true. It was a while ago now.
