can anyone recommend a more reliable upload service (not rapidshare as some other downloaders aren't very skilled in the computer dept.)

Ah, well I'll just give it another try tomorrow, but if it crashes my computer again I'm afraid the title will be quite right
(you're very generous putting it online nevertheless )

Oh man, I just got to the ballads on what would have been "side 2". What a change of pace.
I must say, they do a good ballad!

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Snatched it, listened to it, ready to pass judgement.
I like the songs, but I'm not to keen on the synth. Imho, the songs would benefit from, let's say, an acoustic guitar accompaniment instead.
All in all, not too shoddy.

Finally downloaded it.
'Streets of Grey' is, in my humble opinion, a classic song.

And now, brace yerself..... MY comments!
A Forest - as James puts it sometimes... nature should not be tampered with. Although I plead guilty myself sometimes, I think the same about A Forest, which was a very influential song in my youth. Suffice it to say: no comments on THAT song from me!
Want - very surprising opening, and a nice synthline and beat! Put some punch in it and this could be the next Funker Vogt! Really, you could make a floor-filler song from this with some other sounds. Very catchy tune!
Eyes I - starts off as a Casio-demotune (that means not very good ) and stays that way... The out of sync piano makes it a bit wobbly too... the vocals are nice as usual, but the tune does not fit the voice at all, IMO. Sounds a bit like a cheap song to me, sorry...
Creep - sounds like the Captain Flam theme with Eldos vocals dubbed over! (really, I caught myself singing "Caaaaaa-piiii-taaaaaan Flam tu n'es paaaaaaasssss!!!!! De notre gaaaaaa-laaaaa-xieieieieieee!!!") Also, a bit of a wrong effect on the vocals, I think... better some more warm reverb instead of the dry panning-delay sound... But, on the other hand, it really catches around the two-minute, where the lead synth keeps playing the same four notes over and over again... And really LOVED the end drumrolls
Smoke And Mirrors - nice song with nice vocals again, but maybe another vocal effect is due now and then...
Egypt Nile - very nice beginning, and then the asynchronous keyboard-sounds make it very sloppy. Start using MIDI, this is not the first song that has this problem... This could be a great song when all is in sync! And is that the very same drumroll you used on 'Creep' I hear in the end? Tsk tsk
Whispers - a very atmospheric song! Nice sound, and here the voice sounds perfect!
Volts - a bit too synthy here (cheap saw-synth preset)... and I start to miss a guitar too, as stated somewhere else in this thread... I have that Casio feeling again, too...
This Game - another downtempo song, but this one works very well... the double-sounding vocals are very nicely done calm song, a bit poppy, but certainly not bad
Eyes II - nice uplifting sound, only another irritating key sound... maybe start using some softsynths or something, these sounds are not very good... otherwise nice song structure, songwriting is really good, no problems there!
Night Time Assassin - good song (again), lovely refrain, catchy...singalong too This could be a very nice rock song with some geetars!
Streets Of Grey - Casio is here to stay... special drum sound in the beginning tho, I should experiment with that more... But then again the same problem... the piano goes all over the place, the rest of the song has this Muzak-drumsound... pity!
Could be a very nice song (and so could the other ballads) with totally different sounds. The voice is always nice or even very good.
To sum things up:
The rather good stuff:
- really nice to hear you guys NOT giving up after my previous comments
- very good effort, better than the previous time, you finally found a decent level, I heard some very occasional and very minor clipping, but it was not irritating at all. Good job there!
- songwriting is very good, some nice tunes you got there, nice chord schemes!
- vocals keep amazing me. You have a very good voice; don't be afraid to experiment with other effects, tho... try some grungelizer effects, or a very warm reverb, or even some vocoder presets or the like...
The rather bad stuff:
- ditch the drumsounds, they sound like Richard Clayderman doing a guest appearance in a 'Bold and The Beautiful' episode.
- also, start looking for other synth sounds, there are some good ones ('Whispers', for ex.), but often they sound a bit too saw-ey and irritating...
- I would really recommend the use of MIDI syncing, your songs will benefit from it! Now, when the bass is a 'bit off' and the synth and the piano too, it all becomes one big heap of sounds and noises, like a brassband falling off the stage... MIDI ain't a shameful thing to use, on the contrary. And it opens a lot of paths towards the use of softsynths...
So: another great effort, one can clearly hear you guys are growing! Keep up the good work!
