The Sisters on www.starwars.com

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

QuiffBoy will love this :)

The Star Wars site is running a series of nostalgia articles to celebrate the release of those dodgy laserdisc transfers of the original movies (as bonus discs with the even dodgier CGI 2004 versions of the films)

The Sissies get a mention in the article about Empire in 1980...

Life in 1980

The bands Minor Threat, The Sisters of Mercy, and Husker Du form, while Wings, Parliament, The Germs, The Eagles, and Wire break up.

I did notice the hit songs list too. Whoever made has pretty good taste I think. 8)
The only Star Wars trilogy set I've ever bought was on VHS, so I guess I can afford this one. Never really accepted the revamped versions, let alone the "new" trilogy. :urff:

I've spent an awful lot of cash on Star Wars the RPG tho. :innocent:

Bugger.

More tampering, more tinkering, and no doubt a 6 episode box set with extra extras.

If this goes on I'll end up with more copies of Star Wars than I have of FALAA.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Was planning on getting some kind of box set of DVDs (if one ever came out), so will hang fire.

If I ever got into a room alone with Mr.Lucas i would kick him in the ass so hard for his nonstop revisionist BS.

Rumor is box set of all 6 films, new CGI Yoda for Ep1 and more extras and the stuff he held back from the previous box set.

I want the flipping cut scenes dammit

Tons are here
End of line.

How about replacing every appearance of Jabba with a CGI bloke-in-a-hairy-waistcoat?

I can just see it: "computer technology is now sufficiently far advanced that I can finally realise my original vision of Jabba throughout the entire series."

Better not joke too much - it might come true!
