Crap Kids Names!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Christ. I think it only reinforces the theory that culling is a good idea.

I went to a christening a few months back - one of the kids there was called Araminta or Minty for short. Now who names a kid after an East end mechanic?

A teacher I know had the name Pstephanie on a list of pupils at the start of the school year. Assuming that it was a typo, she called the girl Stephanie. She was corrected; her name indeed was pronounced P-stephanie.

On a similar note, I worked with someone named Dick Wood, and a former neighbor was named Woody Love. The former is now retired, and the latter was a veteran of the Axis War, so they are not what should be considered newly named. Harry Sheets also caused a smile.

Plus, Douglas Dick in school was called Dickless Doug by fellow 14 year olds in all their compassionate glory.

It is a problem though - being 2(ish) months away from Mrs. C giving birth (I thought I'd be PC :innocent: ) we still can't agree on names. The only girls name we have agreed on is Nancy. Boys names are another matter - she still doesn't like Eldritch as a first name for some reason.
