Chatshow - Any info please.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Does anyone know anything about Chatshow, apart from being from Oxford and being a touch on the goth side of things. I've got the following 12" singles and wondered if there was anything else?

Redskies
Noisy Bad High Thing
Kings Of Confusion
Shake It Down
Just Say Yeah - Tanz records compilation with one Chatshow track.

Any info would be gratefully received.

That's pretty much it. They never got to an album. They started off supporting Play Dead a bit & were obviously influenced by them.
I have a few live tapes somewhere. Used to have a live video somewhere but it got nicked.
Chatshow were a fine band.

I've heard of them, but never alas heard them. Knew that they were on Play Dead's label, which is recommendation enough.

Play Dead were possibly the best band ever. So there.

Cheers Biggy. If you can find any of the singles at a reasonable price then i suggest you grab a copy. I hoping to transfer mine onto CD soon.

Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

I have the 12"s but I haven't had a turntable for 15 years.

I saw Leitmotiv a few times too, from Dewsbury I seem to remember.
I have all the Leitmotiv stuff on cd, surprisingly it almost fills an 80min cd. Killing Joke crossed with Danse Society I always thought.
