Just to let you know that Andy has left the UK today for Moscow. As some of you might be aware he's got a teaching job for nine months. He did mention to me that he will let you all know how he's getting on.
I for one would like to wish him all the best as he's a smashing guy.I also admire him for having the bottle to change careers and live and work in a foreign country.
All all the best Andy Makem

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

As for all other straight HLers, I'm sure it's Lost in Translation (I hope)

Alcohol weeding? So if not Vodka; what's your choice?

The ... er ... unfortunate derail has been split out here at the request of ormfdmrush.

Well not that wee anyway...
... well maybe width-wise, but I am not vertically challenged ferchissakes!
As for being mad as a brush and not liking the Neph - fair do's. Although my dislike of that troupe of flour-covered ponces is perhaps my very last shred of sanity

HI everyone.
I'm just about settled into Moscow now, been here for a couple of weeks. For those in the city, I'm living at Novogireevo, out on the end of the yellow metro line.
Teaching is a bit too much like hard work - I should have stayed in journalism and wasted merrily for hours on end. But I'm on a quest for decent Russian bands (I see Butterfly Temple have a gig in a couple of weeks which promises to be a laugh) and dodgy football matches. Life would be easier if I wasn't working most weekday evenings, but there you go.
Do svidanya!

Out of context, that's a glorious statement Claire. Glad to hear it, bet you'd cause one hell of a UTI.boudicca wrote: I! AM! NOT! WEE!
