Return of DM

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

i think the last album is great only being compared with other mainstream stuff
but being valued as Depeche album, it is B-
the true dM psyche contained in Alan's arrangements
Ultra album is good, but weaker, than pre-1995 era ones
Exciter sucks
absolutely
live they are awful, but, of course, better than in 2001
they are no more idols for me, though they are still very important (older stuff, which i've been growing with)

the name of the topic made me think about Depeche Mode, and i was confused seeing those cartoon rats
but i finally decided to post something on DM, when Dave Gahan and "World in my Eyes" were mentioned
hey, the topic is about DM, and i've posted about DM; so what's the problem?
i'm innocent!

Is this what they mean by 'lost in translation'?

Aww, someones gotta be nice....

DM is Danger Mouse, ie the cartoon mouse type geezer. As opposed to the dodgy 'goth pop' band.

Someone had better explain to me as well - I thought they were one and the same :urff: ;D

I could just about deal with Martin Gore's lyrics if I knew he was a cartoon hamster. I believe the jury's still out on that one.

They're not making new episodes then? Bum.

No. They just bring out their old s**t time and again... Sometimes a dodgy remake to get some extra money.

Erm...are we still talking about these cartoons? ;D
