Dress is Smart/Casual..........

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

Usually means "smarter than jeans and t-shirt but more casual than a suit and tie".

Bit up-market for you then, Keith. ;)

Guessed so as well, perhaps a jeans is just about possible, but with a shirt?

Dress codes are rubbish anyway, I usually end up being either over- or underdressed, not just about right

Think Alan Partridge and you can't go wrong :innocent:

I'd be more worried about flying out of Aberdeen - the plane might be delayed because of a SHEEP on the runway...  :P

A mate (Jamie) took the term 'smart / casual' rather literally at Matt's wedding this summer...

top half - dinner jacket with bow tie

bottom half - beach shorts & sandals.

  :notworthy:

Any use Keith? :P

Isn't Partridge "sports/casual"?

Nope.

It's just ghastly.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
