Rebus

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

No' bad at all.

Have to say the supporting casting is far better this time round than the version with John Hannah, particularly Jill Templar and Siobhan.

And nobody ever uses the word 'fuck' in Taggart.

Have to say they're fucking killing it.
Read the book a couple of weeks ago and they've missed it entirely. :(

Trouble is, I can't judge it on it's own as a piece of television, with the
book so fresh. :?

Yes Don, not even close, they had less than 90mins to do "A Question of Blood" a 300+ page crime thriller.
Trying to cram it into 90mins + ads and that TV space, is nutz.
Stott is thee Rebus.
I don't think I'll complain, just yet, they're doing their best.

A real Rebus needs a 3hr treatment.

just read the fuckin' books!

Aye, that was exactly what I was thinking.

And if they want a screenplay my rates are very reasonable! :innocent:
