Timmy!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Timsinister has finally had his shots and is now residing in The Peoples Republic.

He wishes to let everyone know he is alive and well but currently off-line :urff:

He was trying to get the Leeds Contingent out on Friday but has been persuaded to join us on Saturday at the Dry Cock :D

As you where......

Lucky stiff - I really fancy a pint in Leeds about now. Work down the Headingley Road, spot of pizza at Blues Brothers, bracer at the Fenton and before heading off to Riffs or the Duchess. Round the evening off with a chicken phaal from Rajdoots and a midnight show at the Hyde Park.
Most of these places are probably history by now [snif].

The Fenton is still going strong, and Headingley Rd is definitely still there. Alas, the Duchess is a poncey oop market shop, probably.

's emotional - whither the scads of poetry that I scrawled on the wall above the pissoirs of the Skyrack? The tally marks on the doorframe of Ubik at Hyde Park Corner, enumerating the number of times I'd vomited in their doorway (sorry if you had to clear that up)? The bruises on my knuckles from hammering on the door of Bad by the station at midnight yelling that I wanted the boots I could see in the window? The puddle of drool on the pavement outside the Rock Shack as I gazed through the bars at guitars I couldn't afford..?
...whither youth, Mr. Nine? :(

Blues Brothers pizza is now l'Orannaise (or something) which appears to be North African food. The Fenton's still there as Dave says.

Riffs-- was that the one on New York Road? I don't know but I'm 99% sure that's gone. The Duchess is a Hugo Boss shop now I think. Rajdoots I'm not sure, but most of the curry houses are still there (albeit with changed names)

I don't know about your poetry in the Skyrack, I've not been in for yonks. I'd imagine it might have been decorated... Ubik; I can't remember what's there now. Bad has gone too.

I don't drink and can't possibly afford tickets to T'Cult - other than that you might be right (pending news on Rev Hammer gigs later in the weekend....)

Well, consulted my mate and apparantly I said I'd go see NYAAA with her in Bradford that night. But we *might* take a detour into Leeds prior to that! Depends what time you lot are planning on getting to the big silly boat-onna-hill!
