Re-released The Reptile House EP

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

A re-release should look different, I´d say.

Very interesting. The Sisters of Mercy's The Reptile House EP has been re-released with new coverart, new liner notes, and 14 new songs. The original songs (Kiss the Carpet, Lights, Valentine, Fix, Burn) have also been removed.

The tango, slow fox, samba and rumba numbers don't have quite the same effect as the slow, distorted, and disturbed Sisters songs. There was, however, lack of traditional dance moves appropriate for the Sisters material, making this now a far more danceable album with tracks like See The Day and Sing Sing Sing. Easily one of the most intriguing reissues to hit the market.

Nope, I still receive Dominion, but generally delete it without reading it, unless the title looks interesting. Hence I read about the releases, but all the rest of it went to Trash. ;)
