SISTERS have just been played on BBC1

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

By the way, the Nouvelle Vague version of "Marian" was featured quite prominently in yesterday's episode of nip/tuck, a US series about plastic surgery. It provided source music for a lesbian sex scene... yowza.

I heard this last night too.
Also on this morning with just the intro played.

It'll be the same old goth that put No Time To Cry on over some snooker coverage last year! Long may he be employed...

If he does it in the style of the 'Stoneybridge' sketch, count me in.

Just ran into the next room when I heard the song to see Robin and his merry band prancing around in tights. Brilliant!

Wonder if is the same person who specified the Cure on a few trailers recently too - surely no coincedence?

As Cat said when I mentioned it, just maybe someone with a bit of influence reaching "our age" at the Beeb...
