Does anyone else notice the similarity between the opening riff of Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’ and The Sisters of Mercy’s cover of ‘Emma’? Alright, it’s not similar, it’s exactly the same! I’m surprised no one has pointed it out on the forum before.

yeah, i've noticed that, but it's not Sisters' song (right?), so i didn't think it's worthy posting about thatnick the stripper wrote:Does anyone else notice the similarity between the opening riff of Black Sabbath’s ‘War Pigs’ and The Sisters of Mercy’s cover of ‘Emma’? well, all similarity is just in two chords going one just after another
like E5 D5 E5 D5 etc. in Black Sabbath case
and that's all

I always thought that the intro to 'Always There' by the Rose of Avalanche, was WAY, WAY too similar to the intro to Alice.
Give me one good reason
