The Mumbles - Streets Of Grey (Single)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Downloaded it, not quite enjoying it I'm afraid... but the singer has a special voice anyway...

I like a good maudlin ballad and The Mumbles do a very good one. I can almost smell the stale beer and ciggie smoke.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I must say I like EYES I better than STREETS OF GREY because there is less keyboard playing off-beat :|

Such a pity, because SoG is a nice enough tune, but the keys are waaaay out of sync. Eyes I is a very nice song, although the balance is a bit off IMO. I'd put that annoying synth line way in the back and use a real string sound for it. And put the piano in front because it is really good and it works very good with the superb voice ;D sounds a bit like 1959 to me ;)

Hey, nobody complains about the opening synth in Blue Monday, they were triggered out-of-sync too. ;)

Actually it doesn't sound out of sync to me, I know there are a few mistakes on there... but... :?
