From Dad's wife ...
Yes. It is in our neighborhood but not near us. The streets are all closed. The FDR – highway – is closed. It appears to be an accident and nothing more (like a terrorist). It was a helicopter I think.
End of line.
Hit the 20th floor of a building. Looks like at least 2 people are dead. Pilot was operating at a low altitude on visual control. It appears to be an accident. Eye witnesses said the plane appeared to be in trouble prior to hitting. The fire is already out but the smoke is significant. At least 2 floors of the building were hit.
End of line.

Dear BBC, I am too busy dodging burning plane to give a concise report. Suffice to say it's a bit of a cluster f**k.Badlander wrote:I just love it :

Might explain why the Yankees have had a couple of p*ss-poor seasons, if this guy was piloting it...

Mr Weeble, at what point exactly does a bit of a do become a cluster fcuk?

In this scenario I'd say when the co-pilots charred remains rain down on you and you've left the brolly at homePlanet Dave wrote:weebleswobble wrote:Dear BBC, I am too busy dodging burning plane to give a concise report. Suffice to say it's a bit of a cluster f**k.Badlander wrote:I just love it :

In general 'bit of a do' mode:
- Waking up in a Skip
Waking up in Amsterdam (when you only popped out for a paper)

EDIT:
Now I don't know about you but I'd say the instructors first lesson should have been How To Avoid BuildingsThe two killed were New York Yankees baseball pitcher Cory Lidle and his flying instructor.

It's in the news here all the time!!! For f*cks sake; it's an accident of a small plane. No terrorism. Accidents like these happen every once in a while and get little attention.
In France there was a train crash with casualties yesterday. Hardly any attention.

It always amazes me when a train crashes. I mean, you'd think they would build the rails so that they avoid obstacles...

But sorry to disappoint. It was a French freight train vs a Luxembourg passenger train.
