Sisters Tribute CD

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I have that Mercifull Tribute thing, too. Dan Swanös Poison Door sonuds great to me, but doesn´tgo it´s own way. Funhouse do a good job, too. I think it´s the best of the tribute thingies I heard so far, that´s why I bought it. But didn´t listen to it for ages..

Dan Swanös take on Lucretia My Reflection you mean? That one is really good.
And Bay Laurel do a great version of Poison Door!

A Mercyful Tribute is for sure the best tribute album in my opinion.

and there i was thinking i was doing well with monochrome and F&L&F. seems there's more euro-sisters to buy

personally i just glory in their existence rather than dissect each song individually

I suppose we can conclude that TSOM is one of those scarse groups that will always be better in original than in cover.
For example, "Stripped" Rammstein's. In the other hand.
Don't you think so?

There's five Sisters tribute albums in existence as far as I know. Not that you need to own them all...

But I do.
