Charts.....Who's at No 1?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

What was it my mum came out with yesterday when a clip of Radiohead was on the telly?...

"These music videos are too arty for their own good."

"Care to elaborate on that, Mother?"

"Oh no, I know, I'm turning into my dad. He used to say the Beatles needed the army and a haircut."

My Chemical Romance are a bit of lite rock fun. Certainly don't make me angry.

The band that do make me angry are The Kooks. What is so good about them? WHAT? I don't get it.

I listen to Xfm for latest sounds and there's a really good song by a band called Hot Chip. The singer sounds like the one from (doomed pop bleepers) Fischerspooner.

TOTP2 is awful. Really bad. The only new songs are by the blandest of all artists. If you want your pick of retro TOTP performances then visit the youtube one stop shop.

Never 'eard of them.

Another nail in the coffin of my street-cred, no doubt. Great! ;D

"wow dumbass Manson is goth and so is aiden. emo fags are gay if you are emo go listion to panic at the disco thats emo"

"manson=goth Aiden=goth emo=gay panic at the disco= emo=gay"

"They (Aiden) are really cool bunch of Goth Freaks that make killer music."

"aiden is considered gothic punk right?"

"gothic is just emo kids that are devil worshipers, and wear more makeup"

"You are a f**king idiot...
First, Goth came before emo. Being Emo is not about devil worship and all that s**t. That's pretty much for anti conformity people looking for attention.
Now, I ask you...
What the f**k were you on when your dog was telling you about emos and goths?"

"they are not EMO, they are Goth"

One of my work friends apparently (for reasons I still don't quite understand) had the following conversation with her cousin about my musical tastes. The 'bullet' reference was prompted by my Silver Bullet tour shirt.

My Friend: He's a Goth.

Her Cousin: What groups does he listen to?

My Friend: I don't know. Something to do with bullets?

Her Cousin: Bullet For My Valentine?

My Friend: Could be.

Her Cousin: Is he gay?

My Friend: Could be.

(I've never heard Bullet For My Valentine so I don't know if this is funny. Or relevant.)

one question still outstanding tho...

who needs enemies with friends like yours?!
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.
