Introduction

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hey.

Been lurking here for a while, but as I posted in another thread, I felt it rude not to introduce myself.

I'm Kendall, have been a Sisters fan since the release of FALAA. I love all kinds of music, Nephilim, Nick Cave, The Cult, Metallica (excluding St Anger), and NIN mainly heavy rock/metal. Also like my more mellow stuff, Joy Division, Depeche Mode , The The, etc.

By day - office professional suited and booted, by night hawian shirt wearing longboarding skater bloke with a sisters tattoo on my upper arm.

Was disappointed with the gig in London but it was good to be brought up to speed by a friendly fan on the latest sisters tunes. Romeo Down being a great example and Susanne has a great vibe.

Favourite Sisters track? Hard to say but Floorshow on the Wake video always brings a smile to my face and Flood 1&2 back to back are great.

Here's hoping for a new release soon, but hey I'm not saving my pennies just yet.

Its good to be here.

Welcome Mr Mint Cake!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Dug out (indeed, was surprised to come across) Dogs Of Lust the other week - what an exceptionally fine album that is. Saw them play the T&C on that tour, which was also fine. Yaay to The The.

And welcome to the land of the sorry little tunnel Kendall. :D :notworthy:
