Master of the universe?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well, seems Bush's claims just went beyond our fair planet earth and he wants to become 'Master of the universe'. I read in a tiny article in today's newspaper he's just signed a bill which prohibits anyone they don't like to go in space to go into space...

Sure, they claim their economy relies heavily on whatever they have hanging around there, but doesn't anyone else's?

I am the creator of this universe
The wind of time is blowing through me
And it's all moving relative to me,
It's all a figment of my mind
In a world that I designed
Charged with cosmic energy
Has the world gone mad or is it me?

I am the centre of this universe
And all that it was meant to be
So that we might learn to see
This foolishness that lives in us
And stupidity that we must suss
How to banish from our minds
If you call this living I must be blind
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

At the risk of being tormented for asking, here goes...

What "document" or "order" is the article referring to? Who wrote it? Is it "proposed legislation?" I would like to read it.

I agree with you. (Take a deep breath ;) )

I'm a big space enthusiast; I'm sure I would have heard about this elsewhere if it were true.

"A big space enthusiast" - Mark that sounds so cutely old-fashioned. :notworthy:
