I used to share a flat with Karl North (Bass player - Rosetta Stone) !! - No wait, I may lose valuable brownie points for that one!
When recording with Rosetta, I met the guy who sang the theme tunes to Audweidesen Pet .. now 'that's living alright' !!.
Met that total fox, Toni Halliday from Curve at a show at Liverpool University - I was charged with the job of handing over a cd to her. I almost blacked out! A goddess.
When in Stoke at a dodgy club called Shelley's to see a n early Nephilim show, was spotted by their little guitarist who recognised me as a Mishun follower and asked me if I'd like to be on the guest list. Normally, you ask the band for that honour not the other way round! Lovely bloke.
On tour with All about Eve in Europe (supporting the Mishun) I lent the singer ( name eludes me) a bottle of Benylyn so she could perfomr that night. Never saw thew bottle again but got a signed Album with a huge thank you - never saw that again either! Bugger..
More to come..

I have a few of those autograph thingies:
1. the freshest one is still warm, it's Kurt Wagner's autograph on the Lambchop 2006 Tour cd. I got it last night after Lambchop's beautiful gig in the Ancienne Belgique. As Z already put it, mister Wagner is a very nice guy and even a bit shy. It was a good show, hé Z?!
2. the crownjewel of my collection is the Heartland Issue 2 biography. I bought it years ago from Andrew Pinnel himself and is number 2 of 1000. Autographed by the Tour Thing Sisters: Andrew Eldritch, Tim Bricheno, Andreas Bruhn, Tony James & (I think) Dan Donovan.
3. one for underground freaks: Douglas P. from Death in June. He autographed an insert that came with the Paradise Rising 12":
oh, and I hugged with James Ray after I made him loose a game of pool (not to mention his autograph on that Longfolk cd)...

Most of the time I touched celebs was because they were trying to steal beer out of OUR backstage after they offed their 96 cans of cheap lager.
Most of the peeps were upcoming Black Metalbands anyway. Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borir, Within Temptation Island, In The Woods, Summoning...

It's a Sallies thang

I got a kiss of at the Joseph's Well gig.
I have several of my Discworld books signed by Pterry. Last time: Me: "How come your hat isn't pointy?" Pterry: "Someone sat on it..."
Several of my Neil Gaiman books (and some of my Sandman collection) are signed too.
One of my copies of Good Omens is actually signed by both of them. Neil: "Burn this book..." Pterry: "Apply holy match here."
