Awfully sorry, but i would like to mention that im in this years triple J unearthed competition. You can review, rate and download tracks etc, and any support from fellow heartlanders would be downright awesome.
But if this has crossed the shameless self-promotion line, then feel free to delete. I understand. Thanks.

Very nice tunes!
But very weird... on Doomsday Baby, you voice sound like Ville Valo on the slow stuff, but like Katatonia on the heavy stuff... ANd I like Katatonia better hehe...
But really interesting songs and sound! And a good production, tho I'd consider a bit of mastering when you bring that out on a silver or vinyl

Unfortunately no, finding a drummer is the absolute bane of my existence. Im looking at maybe hiring a session guy so we could at least launch it, but id be pretty reluctant to do a launch without a good few gigs under our belts already...ryan wrote:
any gigs coming up?
Im absolutely dying to get it out there in Melbourne town, but it may take a while yet.
Cheers though
Ha ha thanks, i like Katatonia better too. Its already been mastered, which added a lot more punch to the overall mix, but considering it was a home recording (free too!) im pretty happy with it. Doesnt translate too well to Mp3 though...Izzy HaveMercy wrote:Very nice tunes!

Believe me, its crossed my mind. Im thinking of going a little bit further though, and maybe using a live pro tools setup so the electronic drums can be mixed like a real kit, but there is a lot of work and a little stylistic shift involved...but who knows, i might still do it.ryan wrote:Drum machine!Snakes wrote:Unfortunately no, finding a drummer is the absolute bane of my existence.
