through the years

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

the best thing about this album is the cover art; nice pic, all 4 sissies with eldo in front of them, wearing his black cape/coat. Pic is taken in the autum with cool reflections in eldo's shades. Second is the colored vinyl and the labeling with side A, side B...side E and the head&stars logo.

The records are from the Black October Tour, and some early John Peel, IIRC (I am not at home at the moment...surely some nice soul in here will point you to a good boot-reference site).

IIRC(2), the sound quality is ok.

In case I ever give away any of the boots, the "Trough the Years" will stay in my bookshelf.

Buy it if you can.

I have a couple of copies of Gary's last gig on tape. Maybe it came from this boot.
