maybe its not the most original question but does anyone know this SISTERS OF MERCY Through The Years 3 LP BOX SET? whats good or bad about it and what makes it special? where are the versions of the songs taken from? thanx for your answers.

the best thing about this album is the cover art; nice pic, all 4 sissies with eldo in front of them, wearing his black cape/coat. Pic is taken in the autum with cool reflections in eldo's shades. Second is the colored vinyl and the labeling with side A, side B...side E and the head&stars logo.
The records are from the Black October Tour, and some early John Peel, IIRC (I am not at home at the moment...surely some nice soul in here will point you to a good boot-reference site).
IIRC(2), the sound quality is ok.
In case I ever give away any of the boots, the "Trough the Years" will stay in my bookshelf.
Buy it if you can.
