Oh, don't stop the "go figure" repetition! That, and an unreasoningly virulent hatred of That Guitarist for having the temerity to go solo marks the average true Sisters fan!
Well, that and the lack of hair on head, or visible waistline..

I don't really get that one I must be honest. The guy played a mean guitar, and is/was always good for a giggle.DeWinter wrote:...unreasoningly virulent hatred of That Guitarist...

yeah, i agree (apart from the giggle - never met the man). not got a problem with him, apart from that i don't like his voice at all (i have similar feelings to Muse, love the music, hate the overblown theatrical voice...)markfiend wrote:I don't really get that one I must be honest. That piece of news made my day.
What did Patty do wrong? Mmmmh, in my opinion, the hairdo. It made ridiculous Ãœber-goths out of my once favourite band. After seeing the pompous "This Corrosion" vid I've dismissed them for being too "uncool".
Later when I got more superficial I thought Andy with a wet bare chest wasnt entirely a bad thing.
Put their heads on f*cking pikes in front of the venue for all I care.
yeah but you can still blame all that on the von, the whole floodland thing was entirely him (ish) so he signed up to all that.canon docre wrote:That piece of news made my day.

when i first saw the corrosion vid i think i laughed so much, a small bit of wee may have come out. the whole thing may be a "joke" but he looks like he's taking it very seriously...

Oh, I adore the Huss! Every interview I've read of him makes him seem really likable. But the Hussey pot-shots rear their head everywhere The Sisters are mentioned, and not in any reasoned way. "His lyrics are crap" say a bunch of people who were discussing the great merits of the "bad world/smells funny/ buy another if it wasnt for the money" lyric from Vision Thing without a hint of irony!markfiend wrote: I don't really get that one I must be honest. A lot of Sisters fans just parrot Eldritch, and it's majorly tedious, hence people using ghastly Americanisms like "go figure" when they are old enough to know better! And lets not mention the "Uggh, Goths!" attitude.
As for Patty...Andy E wanted Patty, but Patty preferred Dave V, so Andy E got stroppy.

*thinks*
Actually, these days, neither. Von's looking like the proprietor of a rather dodgy backstreet gay club, and Vanian's looking like Elvis post-leaving-building.
There's a man with a mullet going mad with a mallet in Millets
Did you cringe when McCoy did the "fight/die like animals" line too, or was it just me? Shameless scenery chewing..smiscandlon wrote:The chap with the Survival avatar speaks much sense.
Ainley was brill though. Shame he's a definate no-no to return..
"I'd 'ave 'em both"
Vanian , no question. Preferabley from the "Grimly Fiendish" vid.

Indeed. At least we had a hilarious cameo from Hale & Pace to restore the story's credibility...DeWinter wrote:Did you cringe when McCoy did the "fight/die like animals" line too, or was it just me? Shameless scenery chewing..smiscandlon wrote:The chap with the Survival avatar speaks much sense.
