The Mumbles - Live - Tonight!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Tonight we will be doing our first "proper" performance. Well it's nothing like FGG supporting Front 242, just a Halloween house party which has somehow turned into a Mumbles night of mayhem :D

Hopefully it'll go down well, we know most of the people there so hopefully they'll be kind

Play a stonker!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Hope it goes / went well. Don't forget to destroy your geetars at the end. Costly, but fun. :P

As a keyboard band, that shouldn't set them back much ;)

You don't have to play the damn things, just trash 'em. :innocent: I'd imagine keyboards would make a rather annoying noise as they flew into an amp, anyway.

He threw one down from the top of the stairs
Beautiful women were standing everywhere
They all got wet when he smashed that thing
But off in the dark you could hear somebody sing

Oh it breaks my heart to see those stars
Smashing a perfectly good guitar
I don't know who they think they are
Smashing a perfectly good guitar

It started back in 1963
His momma wouldn't buy him that new red harmony
He settled for a sunburst with a crack
But he's still trying to break his momma's back

Oh it breaks my heart to see those stars
Smashing a perfectly good guitar
I don't know who they think they are
Smashing a perfectly good guitar

He loved that guitar just like a girlfriend
But every good thing comes to an end
Now he just sits in his room all day
Whistling every note he ever played

There oughta be a law with no bail
Smash a guitar and you go to jail
With no chance for early parole
You don't get out untill you get some soul

Oh it breaks my heart to see those stars
Smashing a perfectly good guitar
I don't know who they think they are
Smashing a perfectly good guitar

Late at night the end of the road
He wished he still had the old guitar to hold
He'd rock it like a baby in his arms
Never let it come to any harm

Oh it breaks my heart to see those stars
Smashing a perfectly good guitar
I don't know who they think they are
Smashing a perfectly good
Guitar

Only to say, killing off musical instruments is heresy.
