Hawkwind.....again

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Anyone caught Hawkwind on their current tour yet?
Saw them in Wolverhampton on Sunday, Now it may have been the Guinness or the fact I'd endured hours of dreary crap the night before but,it rivalled "Bauhaus" in that it was the best gig I've seen this year.
Brilliant rock tunes like "Hassan I sahba","Right stuff","Orgone accumulator" and an absolutely f*cking brilliant version of "Motorhead" were interspursed with sections of ambient techno.Amazing lightshow and people dressed as insects for some bizarre reason, thankfully it was a "silver machine" free zone.
Everybody should catch at least one Hawkwind show during thier lifetime.

Now if only we could get them to tour on this side of the pond, although it's possible that The Department of Homeland Security would draw the line at one plane full of Hawks and another full of Brixton's Best Botany...
