Wide Receiver

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Hi,

This is my very first post, I hope you understand me, my english is not good, sorry.

Ok, here I go :-)

Are there any version of Wide Receiver with good sound quality or the only version is from the Wide Receiver bootleg ?

I love this song, but the quality from the Wide Receiver bootleg is not good :(

Thx for all,

Refer yourself to the "Weeding" section of the forum.
I'm sure you'll find something.

Hi there and welcome!

I only know two versions exist, from this nice bloke's site.

There's "Demos and rarities 1981-1983" and "Wide Receiver" (the CD with the angel as cover, that's the one I have...)

Dunno if they are the same quality tho... Seeing as it is a demo song, I fear there's only one version around... :|
