Andrea Eldritch!?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Question:

If AE had been born a woman but had still exactly the same career ie songs, band, lifestyle etc would she be as popular as the male counterpart.

Personally, I probably would n't be such a big fan, maybe not at all.
Call me old fashioned but I like AE because he's a bloke.

His current hair-do would have caused even more criticism if he were a woman

All depends on what the voice would've sounded like really...

I would definitely be a lesbian then, that's 100% certain.
She would be very lonely, because men hate women who have both the good looks and the strong personality.
And we probably wouldn't have a chance to hear The Brothers In Arms version of Jolene.

If AE was born a woman, I guess she would be called 'Grace Jones' and would right about this time be called "Viscountess of Wimborne"

And I will not say that "Kate Bush is a female Peter Gabriel" because I think that's very silly.

Better than a turned up nose.
The theoretical Andrea would probably be a brilliant version of Gianna Nanini (Leeds Edition)..?

This is a photo from 1978, she was still just a kid then. Plus you must admit that you are very demanding. :P

Robert Smith was once called just that.
So if Kate is the male Peter Gabriel, and Robert Smith is the female Kate Bush, then Robert Smith surely must be Peter Gabriel. :urff:

Don't worry, you're not doing anything illegal : Kate Bush, b. 30 July 1958.
