A Rock And A Hard Bass

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Maybe there ARE bass players, synth players and bongo bangers onstage, but we don't see them through the fog.

Probably Von thinks that it's good with as few people as possible in the band, makes it easier to get a long with everybody.
And who has been forced out / quit since not having a bass player? Does anyone actully miss Tony James?

The same could be said about Manchester, awful sound until the encore.

It's not too big an ask to get more of the sissies sound 'live'. There's plenty of 'dodgy darklings' playing electro-rock style sets with 'live' digi-drums (and a drummer) and a bassist using midi bass/keyboard bass - or a combination of both.

But at the end of the day, the sisters aren't a band, they're the Andy-Pandy show, and Andy Pandy don't wanna pay no limp-wristed keyboard players.

Everyone knows that the Doc is minidisc player.
