Ill buy the new release.......

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I bought them all. Not so much because I'm a blind stupid fan, more because I'm a purist, dancefloor idiot. And when they all come out again as part of a four CD box set with 2 more extra tracks that I havent got or are slightly different or may be better quality recording then I will go and buy them again.

I don't understand how anyone can view these reissues as rip-offs. Granted, by all the accounts I've read they could have been executed with a little more care, but 20 pounds for 3 discs is pretty generous, all things considered.

I bought all three from Amazon for (just about) 20 pounds, and - wait for it - even paid 12 pounds for delivery to Hong Kong. I'd have paid 20 quid for the FALAA disc alone, which looks to be a very strong reissue. I've been hoping for years to get those B-sides on an official CD, and when you throw in SKOS (early), plus the correction of previous crimes such as the existing CD version of NTTC, I'd've needed my head examining if I didn't buy this one.

Of course, if anyone decides they don't need these CDs, fine. But that's not the same as saying that this is a rip-off.

I eagerly await the arrival of my brown cardboard box...

Preach it brother! :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
