Death Sentence for Saddam

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I take it from this that your initial post on the subject had the desired effect.

Personally I'm against the death sentence in general.

Anyhoo, I don't think the "allies" ever expected to capture Saddam alive (assuming it is Saddam, and not one of his body-doubles) and so were never expecting to face this particular dilemma:

Option a: Kill Saddam and turn him into a martyr.
Option b: Keep Saddam alive and turn him into a rallying point for the anti-western forces.

Neither sounds great does it?

Yeah, and Mussolini kept the trains running on time.

At least none of us will have to worry about feeling under-endowed for much longer.

Ayupp. The first of them all is just a few miles from where I live. The A555 between cologne and Bonn was the first. And untill lately, there was no speed limit! 260Km/h make it a matter of minutes to get from Bonn to Cologne. ;D
