Cats

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I hope, all of us know that we - human beings - are not the only intelligent individuals. There also Them. And it's the last time to dedicate a topic to them. (Sorry, if something like that already exists and I have forgotten that.)
Well, today morning I heard two news from the radio related with cats and Fire And Rescue Services. The first one told about the fact that there have been too many calls to this service because people hadn't got their cats down from the tops of trees. One angry official explained that very often when their men have gone to rescue these animals, cats have jump to the other tree and the troubles have continued. The man stated that their employees would not deal with such problems anymore because "noone have seen a cat's skeleton at the top of a tree".
Another story was about a call to a flat where someone had seen a tiger. When the men came they saw only a striped kitten. Suddenly a drunk woman who had called the service started to doubt was it really a tiger but she was told that this WAS a tiger and the animal was taken away.

(Unfortunately I was too sleepy when I heard those stories - so I can't say where did they happened - here, in Estonia or any other place. But my wife affirmed later I didn't heard them in a dream :) )

Cats are ace.

My friends cat has 7 toes. He falls off things and is scared of everything. Looks similar to Hal's cat but he usually sleeps with his feet hanging out of the window coz he likes the draft.

Cats rock! Well, my cats anyway. Rover is a lard arse who is loved by everyone, he's a bit like a teddy bear with claws. Angie is a bit weird, very nervous. She moved in from our downstair neighbour and has never gone back.

My mates three-legged cat is the most nimble little f ucker on the planet. Amazing.

Unfortunately my wifey is allergic to them, otherwise I'd have a houseload. As it is I have to put up with an old, crap welsh springer tosspot dog.

I got nothing against dogs, they just aren't as cool as cats. That and they stink, drool, don't bury their crap and are very needy.

I've everything against dogs, for all the reasons you succinctly pointed out. Though you missed 'excessively stupid'.

just to clear it all up. Like I said I've got nothing against dogs. I just don't think they make good house pets. If you got a big garden and shoes that crap just slides off then they're excellent pets.

My cat storm rules, he is the most angst ball of fur you could ever possibly meet!, and he is vicious to :). But when your feeling down he will come and sit on your knee and purr.. you cant move though.. cos he will stick his claws in.

Listen here PiB, this forum is no place for specism :!:
I'm was trying create unity between cats and dogs by showing that they have more in common than they think (besides the burying their own crap thing).

Slippers are for people who live in cold countries, I don't really see the point to them. ;D ;D

These sticks, does it count if they're from my cat nip bush :?: :innocent: :innocent:

d00mw0lf, samoyeds rock :notworthy: . Got one of the furry little critters myself, a five year old drooling, deficating softy called Chewy (sounds like chewbacca from Star Wars when he yawns).

Also have two cats, one is a small psychotic b*t*h with a size complex. If its bigger, fight it about sums her up. The other is so lazy that it needs a couple of snoozes just to build up to her main sleep, never leaves the house and who`s only challange in life is avoiding the occational attempts at cross species breeding the dog seems to be so facinated in.

Intrested mixture though a sammy puss or prehaps a pussed. Could take off. ;D

I am with you on the subjects of "dogs" I cannot see the point of having a dog - If you want something that wines, crys, makes unreasonable demands, is costly, smells etc etc have a child ;-) - failing that, I understand a Music Journalist would do just as well ! ;D

we'll definitely take one when we have room enough and... there are some other reasons not to take a cat yet.
but there could emerge a problem - she wants a blue one, i love black and white ones most. hope, we'll find a solution.

there is a dog someplace...a black poodle...WHY???...but he only needs me when it's time for his nose bag...i feed him...nothing else!
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

There is the proof of dogs are stupid and cats are not. Dogs has to stick their noes up in the camera to find out what it is. But cats on the other hand, they simply dont care. Cats just pose (if they feel like it) and just thinks "yeah i know im the best".
Ive posted my cats picture before, but here i go again, hes the best :notworthy: More pics are on the way.
