Yet Another Cover [Body Electric]

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Not one for "While we're waiting", so I guess it needs it's own thread. This was done because my band's ditched me and I suddenly needed a decent yet doable cover that fitted next to "What's a Party" for the Battle of the "Bands" set I'm now soloing on Thursday (1 Original / 1 Cover rule, else I'd have done 2 originals :(). Any feedback would be appreciated =)

Unjoy.

It's not too bad. Keeping the original song structure would have been an idea, but never mind me, I'm a purist in that regard.

Like your voice on this one - it sounds better when you're not going for the "gruff goff" effect. :D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I'd have kept the original structure given a choice, but I needed to cut it down to fit into the set time. Glad you like it :D

Glad you like it, cheers to all for listening 8)

The acid test is tomorrow at the gig - if they don't like it, it must be good. And the bass will be as far into 11 territory as the PA will take it ;)
