I Need All The Love I Can Get DEMO

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi there,

For those who cares, Jim Steinman has written a new song based on the chorus for MORE, I need All The Love I can Get (Catwoman's Song) It was written as part of the now cancelled BATMAN - THE MUSICAL. A demo was made in 2002 featuring the unknown Karine Hannah. Produced by Jim Steinman. You can listen the song here:

http://media.jimsteinman.com/audio/catwoman.mp3

Remember it's for a musical so please listen to it as such. The voice in the beginning is by Steinman.

I love the demo :-)

Enjoy

And just when I was thinking that More wasn't bombastic enough.

More was co-written by Steinman.

I do like that it has some purring at the beginning - got to be the best bit of the whole track

EDIT
Worryingly this project is not quite as dead as we might have hoped...

My ears didn't bleed, but I believe I had severe haemorrhaging of several internal organs, and I'm pretty sure that my bowels were possessed by Satan at one point.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Yes - thanks to psychotropic drugs, and fully-staffed medical team, and the apparatus from the detox scene in ClockWork Orange, I managed to listen to all of it.

I am now sitting in the corner weeping gently. It really is godawful (apart from the guest vocals from the local RSPCA). Rock-out guitar intro with obligatory firework sfx) slides into some mawkish Andrew Lloyd Webber lyrics which talk about this bird's love of Mentos (or something). It just gets worse after that - no structure, the bits segue into each other in a manner exactly unlike a flowing thing.
Sure to be a hit on Broadway for the pasty white rubes from Kansas, though.

I usually keep all Sisters related crap that come up online, but that got deleted after about 4 mins.

Thanks, but no thanks Daniel! :)

I'm glad u all like the demo :innocent:

I didn't expect u to... 8)

Just thought there would be a fan or two of the Sisters that might like to listen some Stein-sisters-related stuff.

I have been a Sisters fan for years thanks to Steinman. Love the stuff they did together especially "This Corrosion" and "More"

Actually I loved "This Corrosion" and "Temple Of Love" when played live on their latest tour. Saw them in Copenhagen 2006.

While in Steinmanland there is one song I would like Andrew's vocal on. Another Steinman musical demo from BATMAN called "In The Land Of The Pig The Butcher Is King". If u dare give the song a try  :

http://media.jimsteinman.com/audio/landofthepig-256.mp3

The song can also be heard on Meat's latest effort Bat Out Of Hell III.

I remember hearing this I think like a year ago or maybe two. It was played in some teen movie that I was briefly watching on tv.
