I'm please they're still great. I saw them a number of years ago and thought at the time I would only go to see them in future. Didn't quite work out like that in the end.

I took my 7 yr old nephew & to see them about 4 years ago. I had never been to a 'pop' concert before and can assure you it is not like a 'gig' in any respect. They were very sexy on stage and my nephew loved too, though he doesn't like me speaking about it since he discovered Alabama3.

Nice one, we took Mags's Nephew to his first gig, Ramstein, his wee Sister wants to go and see the Pussy Cat Dolls, her first gig, I've offered to take her as not to show favoritismArch Deviant wrote:I took my 7 yr old nephew & to see them about 4 years ago. I can't believe you've breathed the same air as Liz McClarnon

Sorry Keith buddy, I seem to be dissing you a lot recently but Gomez were dull, are dull and shall forever remain dull.
And I decided to bung on FOTN's The Nephilim tonight (see what I did above?) for the first time in about 15 years and I only enjoyed Shiva, Love Under Will and Last Exit, it doesn't mean we can't still be friends
Yer richt aboot wan thing, it's nae Mourning Sun. That's a classic!

Just to add to the fray:
Gomez = hmmmpfff.... tolerable, some of their stuff is ok, but it's sometimes just to INDIE and one of the singers just sounds too much like Rod Stewart, which is never a good thing - even if you're Rod Stewart!
And to resolve any dispute here:
"The Nephilim" is an absolute, start to finish classic.
"Mourning Sun" is ALSO an absolute, start to finish classic.
BOTH are far better than Elezium.
Off to write about voles now.

Gomez - loved the first album, saw em at the T&C and they were ace. After that it did appear that they were a bit of a one trick pony, and a dire Glastonbury performance killed my interest stone dead. Ah well, the first one is still groovy.
Pop gigs. Never been to one (if you don't count The Sisters ), but I daresay I'd get arrested if I ever saw The Sugababes live.

There is increasing evidence to suggest that Chris may have been being sarcastic.
