myspace

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I have been looking around the 'maze' of myspace and have a question. Does it usually crash as often or is it my computer/me asking it to do too much at once?

It crashes. A lot...

One out of five friend requests end in a "an error has occurred, staff has been contacted about this blabla", while the request succeeded anyway.

It's a good way to promote your music, but it is not the most bulletproof one... :|

Not one page conforms to any HTML standard, I don't think.. it may be useful for some things, but it's so appallingly designed..

Kiddies with their "Profile editor site code" making their profiles look "cool".. so easy to f**k up the tables on their page if you post a 1000x1000 image in the comments..

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I don't think I will bother, just seems like a waste of good time. The music keeps stopping then starting again and I end up making tea and forgetting about it.

myspazz

not the most exciting place on the www...and like Scotty...i just don't see the point of it unless you have something to advertise...works well for bands trying to get their music heard...but for anything else it sucks IMHO
