Hiya Folks, looking for a spot of advice from those more tinterweb literate than myself.
Firstly, as a disclaimer, my position of downloading. Downloading is wrong and bad if: You have the oppertunity to buy a cd you know you want, and you don't because you can download it for free. You should be shot.
Downloading is fine and dandy if: You want to research a new artist but can't afford to get CDs based purely on hearsay or cover art and you want to sample. Its also fine if you are trying to find a rare track that is unfeasable to buy (vnv nations standing burning empires ep for example, even the band acknowlege its one to download).
Its also fine if you have vinyl, and an mp3 player.
I asked for help getting linked to a download of the sisterhoods gift, but I now need help finding this sort of thing myself, as I have a few records that I want to digitalise. Limewire is PANTS for getting whole albums all together, and I don't know how to open a torrent file.
Help me.

I just connect the output of my stereo to my sound-card and record using Audacity. Though if I want an album and can't be bothered, I just download using SoulSeek or DC++
I don't care about downloading. I'll download what I want to. If I end up buying official material, good for me. If not, better luck next time.

About Bit Torrent : http://www.dessent.net/btfaq/
BitTorrent Clients : http://www.slyck.com/bt.php?page=2 (I use Azureus personally)
It's dead easy. For Azureus :
1. Install the latest version of Java (link is on the Azureus webpage)
2. Install Azureus.
3. Download a torrent file. Open it with Azureus. Choose where you want to save the file.
4. Watch it download.
5. Thats pretty much it.
