Save your money for the new Merciful Release

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

As they are both on there, can we assume that they are working togetter again?
I'm sure Jess would explain it better but I don't think them mentioning MR has anything to do with any kind of Warner/MR collaboration. It's just that the original album was released on MR, that it's copyrighted 1987 and that Rhino are legally bound to mention it. No more.
may we expect a best of vol.2 aswell? or an official release with B-sides?who knows, but this re-release brings back the hope for me for new stuff in the near future...
I wouldn't get too excited if I were you. Something new might appear, but I certainly don't see it coming from Warner.
I'd end this moment to be with you
Through morphic oceans I'd lay here with you

I don't know if this question has been answered already, but to my knowledge AE sold all rights (publishing and recorded) to WEA back in 1993, so no they wouldn't, as they own the whole lot.

here's a question: would the record company not have to consult the band if they were going to reissue the albums anyway?[/quote]
