First and Last and Always: Remastered and Expanded

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

This is a general warning to anyone who is considering buying de CD First and Last and Always: Remastered and Expanded.

The sound quality is awful. I don’t know what they mean by “Remastered But it’s certainly ain’t a better quality of sound. The original is much better.

So, be warned!!!

Methinks someone got a different version to the rest of us. Image

Still, you're entitled to your opinion (even if it is wrong :innocent:)

If you mean the original vinyl, then I agree. It does sound better than the CD, but then to my ears vinyl sounds better than CD anyway.

If you mean the travesty that's been available on CD since 1988, then you are Yvonne Eldritch, and I claim my 50 quid!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
