There are a couple of good bands worth checking out, such as Front 242 (GODS!), Funker Vogt, Covenant, Nebula H, Colony 5, Wumpscut, and of course... Belgium's own Suicide Commando!

i always preferred the older ebm - 242, nitzer ebb, daf, depeche mode's darker material, that kind of stuff...

I used to really like Nitzer Ebb.
I recently bought a secondhand Front By Front on vinyl for old times sake, can't say I've listened to more than once.
I also don't really like the new stuff, but then I haven't been listening to anything electro for a while.
