As you probably all know by now I am learning to drive (yes we know BoF *yawn*) and have been looking at what sort of car I will be getting...
I would really like one of these (Chrysler Crossfire)
or these (Corvette Stingray)
but I am most likely to end up with one of these
I just wondered what was everyone's first car, and which car would you have if money was no object?
Sorry I do actually like cars quite a lot - I had toy cars instead of dolls when I was little

have you seen how many questions the seller has got?
i had to send him one myself of couse!
my first car was a VW Beetle (the real one, not that new jelly mould sh!t!)
and was painted matt black in the roadside within a couple of weeks and then the exhaust pipe was ahem, modified!
general customising tip on all my vehicles:
paint it matt blak & chop off the exhaust pipe!
(currently got a bit of oversized scafold tube on the back of my RR!)

I've had two XR2s and an Astra GTE (I actually shed a tear the day I handed the keys over) I now have a Joe Square's Mobile in the shape of a Rover 200i it gets me from A to B, just.
I don't really have a dream car anymore, I got old.
The Forres Taxi is a nice machine but a PewJoe/PerJo 307 looks mair swoopy.

My first - and until now - only car was (past tense) an Audi 80 1600D, incredibly slow, but reasonable fun
Too many dream cars to mention, though an Alfa Brera is truly amazing (if only I'd fit in ). I've also been quite fond of the Mercedes Benz G55 AMG, shaped after a chalet, as fast as a Porsche
No car now, no need really, but driving is done in my parents' car normally, a Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD. Not bad, though I think bushman might think otherwise

First car was a VW Polo in [ahem] 'metallic sand' that my sister and I both learned to drive in, thus clutch was deeply deeply intercoursed. Was eventually cabbaged for spares for...a VW Polo in metallic blue that my sister handed down to me (she got it 2nd hand as a present for graduating poly), which developed an annoying glitch: the bonnet latch suffered catastrophic failure at about 65 on a dual carriageway - a "SH!T I've gone blind!" moment.
Car of choice would be a Morgan (racing green), or a Mercedes CLK Kompressor II with the electric roof (which doesn't come in racing green).
And I always thought a Countach' was that little tuft of hair that some ladies have perched on top of their fuds...

First car was a Fiat Supermiafiori which still holds a place in my heart. Current car is is Seat Leon Cupra which I absolutely love to bits.
All cars are compromises though - bikes are where it's at. Even a cheap s**t old bike kicks any car's arse.

Chucking another log on, reversing the polarity of the neutron flow
First car a blue Mk3 Cortina...then a red Mk 4..then various Mazda 323's...an Astra estate (which Number One Son totalled three days after passing his test) a lovely lovely white Mondeo which we killed on the highest bit of the M62 one New Year's Eve, a clapped out old Cavalier and now a sexy black Mondeo s**t-of-a-shovel, sexy leather heated seats (a BOON for mi cold ass of a mornin') TD gubbins.
BUT if push came to shove....
and...
Naturally I'd be hot-footing it over to visit Ez - or have they changed the rules of the roads over there?

Five cups of coffee just to be myself...when I'd rather be somebody else
I´ll have one of these, for representative purposes a and for saturday afternoon I´ll have a ,please!
My good old Tango Charlie looks exactly like that, I still have him at the garage downstairs, I unfortunately lack the money to give him a propper overhaul. He´s allmost 30 years old by now..
And, yes, that was my first car. I still have it.
EDIT: How could I forget about Star Trek on wheels, the Aston Martin Lagonda? A real feeling of a science fiction on wheels, a futuristic vision of the 70/80ies come true.. It´s , it´s , it´s . Maybe the pictures don´t impress anyone. But on a job several years ago I had the pleasure of driving one for about a mile..

My first car was a blue one that blew up. My second car was a green one that blew up. My third, silver one was fine, so naturally I had to flog it due to lack of funds. My current one is blue, and threatens to blow up with every thrust of its pistons.
