Top Night Out

Right , I'm in need of a damm good night out. I wanted to ask if there were any top nights out in terms of being able to turn up at a decent place and hear sisters music and the like. Probably looking around London but open to travel for a blazing night out somewhere where I can find escape from the butt crack world of chart music and Pete fxxking Doherty! Answers on a postcard....

there's a few options in leeds that various people might like expand upon
and while you're (potentially) up here, i dj at a club called "sin city" in manchester

its usually on the 2nd and last saturtday of each month, but due to the festive season the next night is actually new years eve (a sunday!)
after that, i think its back usual, so it would be saturday 13th jan
